About Flor, your private guide in Paris
I arrived in Paris from Mexico in 2009 to start a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature at the Sorbonne University. During my early years in Paris, I loved showing the city to visiting family and friends. I took them to my favorite restaurants and bars, the parks and gardens where I had picnics, and other hidden gems.
While pursuing my PhD, I started working part-time as a guide at the Eiffel Tower — without realizing it would become one of my greatest passions. I discovered how much I enjoyed sharing Paris with everyone. In France, guides must hold an official certificate to lead tours inside museums and châteaux (palaces). I spent a year studying at the École du Louvre and was certified by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020. Since then, I’ve held a license that allows me to guide in all French national monuments.
I’m trilingual, and my mind — as well as my life — is divided into three languages. I work mostly in English, live my daily life in French, and pursue my literary passion by writing creatively in Spanish for literary reviews, such as
Revista Pasajes
.

My Mission
Show Paris in a plesant and cultural way adapting to each client.
My Values
I will teach history with professionalism and punctuality, without compromising the fun part.
